Meeting.

President-Elect Eric Kramer opened the meeting in the traditional manner. Happy/Sad Dollars were collected.

President-Elect Kramer discussed the past Ohio District convention.

J. T. Irmscher reported that a meeting about the upcoming Fall Festival was being held tonight at 1730 at the former First City Bank building and that the organizers had expressed a desire to have a Kiwanis club representative attend the meeting. Hans volunteered.

The Lima Club and the Division 2 club members who attended did a great job hosting this year's Ohio District Convention. The Lima TV station WLIO had this on their nightly news. Turn up your volume to hear it: Kiwanis Convention.

J. T. Irmscher introduced Mary Beth Torsell a Health Initiatives Representative with the American Cancer Society. Mary spoke to us about a program called Cancer Prevention Study-3.  More information about the program and how to get involved is outlined below.
