Meeting.
President Ken Rosengarten opened the meeting in the traditional manner. Happy/Sad Dollars were collected.
Mary discussed the new Bylaws. Ruth handed out the gas card tickets for Kiwanis year 2014. Every member receives 8 cards to be sold for $10.00 each. The proceeds from the gas card raffle will benefit the Celina Recreation Department's baseball, softball and soccer programs. Ruth will need the money by September 25th of this year.

22. Kiwanis membership surpassed 10,000 in 1919 and reached 100,000 in 1928. Membership fell below the 100,000 mark during the economic depression years of 1931-1939, but again surpassed 100,000 in 1940. In 1952, membership passed the 200,000 mark and reached 300,000 in 1979.
