Christine Bray
Christine, who has a BA degree in science, spoke about her job which is to prevent sports injuries through preventive care. She is the person that runs out on the football field when a player is down. She stresses that she is not a physician by works under the guidance of one. Each year she meets with the parents of players and stresses that players need to be honest in reporting pains and injuries. She said the worst kinds of injuries occur when a player withholds information because he does not want to be taken out of the game, such as a concussion on top of a concussion. She said that knee injuries are by far the most common injuries.
She works full time with the Celina Schools and part time at Ft. Recovery.
