Meeting.
President Ken Rosengarten opened the meeting in the traditional manner. Happy/Sad Dollars were collected.
Hans Rehrmann relayed a request from the Regatta chairman for us to provide a Burger-stand for this upcoming weekend. We decided against it due to insufficient lead time.
Last Wednesday evening Hans Rehrmann had attended a meeting with Jeff Fortkamp, the director of the Celina Parks and Recreation department, about staffing for the Fall Festival. Jeff had asked for 12 people to help with punt, pass and kick scorekeeping, as well as, inflatable watching. So far only Hans has signed up. We will pass the sheet around again next week.
J. T. Irmscher introduced his guest, Abby Balster.
Abby is the executive Director of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program representing Auglaize, Mercer and Van Wert counties. She outlined what they do in the tri-county area. She spoke at length about a new program called the Lunch Club Fact-volunteers.
