(52% of members attended).

Guest: Jeffrey Hazel, Mayor of Celina.

President Rosengarten opened the meeting in the traditional manner. Happy/Sad Dollars were collected.

President Rosengarten announced that the new members Linda May and, hopefully, Dave Smith will be installed at next weeks meeting.

The Lima club has notified us that they will send six members next week for an interclub.

Next weeks meeting will be held at the Lodge.

Program.

Marjorie Stachler introduced today's speaker, the Mayor of Celina, Jeffrey Hazel.



The mayor spoke about how he balanced the city's budget, about being a fiscal conservative, the downtown revitalization, street and waterline overhaul, and the city income tax. The web site for the city of Celina is: http://www.ci.celina.oh.us/citygovernment.php.

Kiwanis Education.
67. K-Kids is a Kiwanis-sponsored service club for students in elementary schools. Each K-Kids club is a local project of its sponsoring Kiwanis club, and there is no district or International K-Kids structure. The K-Kids program was officially adopted by Kiwanis International in 1998.
