President Eric Kramer opened the meeting in the traditional manner. Happy/Sad Dollars were collected.

Discussed Coat Day on Saturday 10/26.

We still need volunteers for Healthy Kids Day.


Program.

Fred Wiswell, the executive director of the Otterbein, St. Marys lifestyle community was today's speaker. Fred, a retired educator from Celina City Schools, spoke at length about what Otterbein has to offer in assisted living.

Kiwanis Education.
29. The goal of Kiwanis International’s Worldwide Service Project is to eliminate iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) as a major world health concern. Iodine is important for proper brain and nervous system development, so iodine deficiency is especially dangerous during prenatal development and early childhood. IDD is the leading preventable cause of mental retardation in the world today.
